Contract Support Meeting

This information-packed meeting is an excellent opportunity for those first-timers to prepare for contract negotiations and a great refresher for you seasoned pros! Anyone participating in your school's contract negotiations is welcome to join! This might be your teacher, president, treasurer, director, teacher liaison -- check your negotiation process for details.

 

Topics include PCPO's minimum salary recommendations for the 2024-25 school year, tips for a smooth and successful negotiation, and confidential break out rooms for teachers and board members.

 

General Meeting 

(1/16, 7 pm PST, Zoom)

All board positions are invited to this general meeting that will have a focus on conflict resolution. 

 

 

Family Education

Bats in your belly, rock in your throat: Risky Play in Preschool

Bridging home values and beliefs with school practices is not alway easy. Risky Play outside of home can bring many emotions for parents/guardians, and at times, can cause a rift between educator and family. In this session we'll dive head first into the benefits of risky play in school, how families and schools can find common ground and value with this kind of play, and ways to support risky play at home.

PCPO is a nonprofit organization and we rely on donations to keep our programs going, just like your schools! We encourage schools to make a donation (suggested amount $20-$60) and encourage your member families to sign up. Individuals are also welcome to donate.
